106,3279Teaching responsibilities will include courses such as Quaternary Studies, Ecology, Winter Ecology, Introduction to the North, and Field Studies in the Circumpolar North, as well as working closely with students on independent studies, senior applied research projects, and work program obligations. Additional responsibilities include service on committees, faculty and instructional team meetings, and advising. In addition, candidates should have experience developing and teaching field programs in remote areas.

The ideal candidate is an innovative and passionate undergraduate educator with substantial hands-on research experience in his or her field of study, who is able to teach in a flexible interdisciplinary environment. Preference will be given to applicants with a PhD at the time of appointment.
