The LANDSCAPE LAB project, co-ordinated by the University of Lapland's Arctic Centre, found its basis in the increasing need for knowledge about the impacts of growing tourism on nature, culture and local communities.
The project will lead to the development and presentation of methods using which tourism operators can estimate and promote the sustainability of tourism.
