Conference in Khanty-Mansiysk

On April, 10 the IX scientific conference named after ethnographer and forester A. Dunin-Gorkavich will be held in Yugra State University, Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia. It’s organized by the Department of natural resources of the Khanty-Mansiysk region.

Topics of the Conference are:
· Forestry
· Ecology and management of nature
· Development of the North of the Western Siberia. Recultivation of disturbed soils
· Ethnography, tourism
· Finno-Ugric World

Deadline for submitting theses is April, 1. Students, teachers, environmental activists, governmental representatives and others are welcome to apply.

Working language is Russia, though articles in English can also be accepted to be published.

There is no registration fee, but all the transportation and accommodation expenses should be covered by participants.
