The main idea of the Youth Economic Forum is to set up the platform for discussing the theoretical issues and designing the practical mechanisms for the development of regions in the global economic space. Since most regions of the world are governed by common developmental patterns, the Forum shall raise the most relevant issues related to the influence of the global economy on regional development and the formation of the prerequisites for sustainable development of the regions.

Since 2008, the event has been attended by more than 1,000 young researchers and specialists from Russia, Germany, Italy, Poland, Finland, Latvia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Armenia and Azerbaijan. The key principles of the Forum are partnership, interdisciplinary and international cooperation. Scientific and educational institutions, authorities and the business community contribute to organization of the Forum.

PARTICIPANTS: Senior students, postgraduates and young scientists, entrepreneurs and experts, as well as other stakeholders are invited to participate in the Forum.

THEMATICALLY, the Forum in 2014 will be focused on how the new economy forms in the sustainable development context. The new economy is an economy based on knowledge, intangible assets and innovative business models.

Proceedings of the Forum will be published, participants will receive certificates, and the best papers will be awarded diplomas and prizes.
