The Model Arctic Council (MAC) is an experiential learning exercise in which graduate and advanced undergraduate students from universities across Arctic countries and world convene to represent and simulate the work of Member States, Permanent Participants, and Observers of the Arctic Council (AC).

To apply to the Model Arctic Council, students must 1) complete the application form and 2) ask a faculty member at their university to email a letter of recommendation directly to the organizing committee.

All conference-related costs while students are in Fairbanks will be covered. This includes accommodation, local transportation and meals. Students are responsible for obtaining funding to cover the cost of their transportation to and from Fairbanks.

For more information and to apply, visit MAC web page.

The event is organised by UArctic Thematic Network on Model Arctic Council.
