«E-NetSchool» - Children's educational portal for Indigenous Peoples of the North
Scientific Research Institute of National Schools of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) presented a new educational portal «E-NetSchool». This website is designed for school competitions in Russian and in native languages of the indigenous peoples of the Russian North, Siberia and the Far East.
The «E-NetSchool» portal uses virtual keyboards developed for Yakut, Even, Evenk, Yukagir, Dolgan and Chukot languages. Due to this technical option school children can participate in various subjects’ competitions. There is also an additional opportunity to ensure the availability of participation for all interested children: they can choose the competition form (online or offline, sending the printed copy to the competition providers). In April and May 2015 the first competitions will be conducted in the test mode. There will be competitions on separate subjects (eg, "Russian language", "Yakut language", "Even language", "Mathematics" and others) and interdisciplinary ones.
The website can be used for contests and competitions organized by other institutions (schools, libraries, etc.).
