It is quite possible to recreate testing conditions for freeze-proof technologies in Yakutia. Tests are the source of reliable information about the properties and quality of wheeled and tracked vehicles throughout their lifecycle – from project development and before the service expiry. The testing results can serve as a basis for improving the design, manufacturing technology, planning, supply of spare parts, and maintenance in operation.
NEFU has been carrying out winter tire testings for Bridgestone Corporation since the November of 2012, and has 450m and 800m snow straight and curved tracks, 80m and 200m skating tracks.
The complex will include Yakut automotive expert and proving ground, accreditation centers, training grounds network, Arctic Innovation Center, NEFU Center for Intellectual Property and others.
