The yearly High North Dialogue conference gathers experts and stakeholders from a range of sectors, and has a strong focus on business development and job creation in the High North. One aspect that participants highlight as especially useful, is the fact that the conference provides a platform to interact with young academics and professionals with an interest in the Arctic. The conference coincides with weeklong Master and PhD courses that gather graduate students from Norway, Russia, China, and several other countries.

The theme of this year’s conference is Innovations in the Arctic. The conference will explore topics such as innovation and entrepreneurship in the Arctic, High North scenarios, and the regional dimension of business development. Business leaders and entrepreneurs will share their thoughts and know-how on how the enormous business potential in the Arctic can be harvested. For the second year in a row, we present the High North Hero Award to a person or an organization that has contributed to highlighting the importance of the High North. We invite everyone to nominate candidates.
