The north2north Student Mobility Program is supported by an international network of
north2north Member Institution Contacts. See information about the noth2north contact person on your institution under
Where can I go.
A special north2north scholarship program has been established under the north2north Student Mobility Program. Students placed in a north2north exchange can, for most countries, apply for a north2north scholarship and/or a travel grant.
Under the north2north student exchange program, students will normally not pay tuition fees at the host institution and will maintain enrolment at their home institution which may or may not collect fees, depending on the local system. The north2north Student Mobility Program has at its disposal a number of north2north tuition waivers for North American placements offered by North American member institutions. Students participating in a north2north exchange in the North American region can apply for available north2north tuition waivers.
All academic achievement should be fully recognized at the home institution and count towards the student’s degree requirements. Studies abroad should not normally extend the student’s total study time. Assets beyond academic achievement can be considered on an individual basis. Learning agreements shall be drafted and signed by students at both home and host institutions prior to the study-abroad period.
When there are more applicants than north2north scholarships or tuition waivers, special selection criteria shall be followed.
