The 6th International Conference on Emerging Contaminants (EmCon2018) will take place from the 25th to the 28th of June 2018 in Oslo, Norway and is hosted by the Norwegian Institute for Water Research (NIVA).
The scope of the conference covers all aspects of research on emerging contaminants. Furthermore, EmCon2018 places special focus on Arctic ecosystems; Urban environments and megacities; Oil, gas, fracking and mining; Waste, wastewater recycling and reuse; Nanomaterials; Microplastics; PFAS and new contaminants on the horizon. A high interest on non-target analysis as well as for sewage water forensics/epidemiology have been noted and these two themes are added to the list of sessions.
The deadline for abstracts has been extended to January 29th, 2018.
