The successful candidate should have a completed doctoral degree and competence in teaching and student supervision as defined by the Norwegian position of Associate Professor.

The position involves research, professional development, outreach, and teaching. The position will serve to strengthen the Institute’s focus on border studies. The successful candidate is expected to participate in collaborative research, in scientific networks nationally and internationally, as well as in dissemination and outreach to a larger public.
