- co-organizes the Calotte Academy (https://calotte-academy.com); since 1991, 33 annual academies with innumerable comments, counter-arguments, and questions & answers based on more than 700 presentations at 200 sessions, organized in 4 countries (Finland, Norway, Russia, Sweden) and Sapmi in 23 different locations in the European Arctic (for more details see Final Reports)
- organizes sessions, in cooperation with Arctic Circle MC on the GlobalArctic, Geneva Center of Security Policy, at annual ACAs
- initiated the GlobalArctic Project (https://globalarctic.org) with a GlobalArctic Massive Open Online Course, MOOC
