Woodwell Climate Research Center conducts science for solutions at the nexus of climate, people, and nature—solutions that are urgently needed to propel us toward a more equitable, healthy, and sustainable world. Based in Massachusetts, USA while operating globally, our focus is advancing scientific discovery and science-based solutions that address the world's environmental challenges, including Arctic-relevant issues, while informing policy and decision making through science. We do this by partnering with a global network of communities and leaders for just, meaningful impact to address the climate crisis and issues of global sustainability. Although we are not a university institution, we often partner with, and host, students through hands-on, real-world collaborative science and policy projects.
