Second Scandinavian-Baltic Symposium of Parasitology to be held in Rovaniemi

The 2nd Scandinavian-Baltic Symposium of Parasitology (SBSP 2) will be held on 30 August-1 September 2007, at the Arctic Centre, University of Lapland in Rovaniemi, Finland.
 
The conference is organized by the Finnish Forest Research Institute, Finnish Food Safety Authority Evira, and the University of Lapland's Arctic Centre.

The scientific program for SBSP 2 includes invited keynote talks, submitted talks, and poster presentations. Themes include general veterinary parasitology, protozoan zoonoses, fish parasites, Echinococcus, host-parasite associations (physiology, pathogenesis, population and community ecology, phylogeography and phylogeny, and bioinformatics), human parasitology, and other relevant topics.
