uaf logoThe scientist(s) will conduct modeling studies that make use of data being collected by these projects and that involve the integration of existing models of vegetation dynamics and biogeochemistry.

A PhD and training in earth system science or biogeochemistry is required. Applicants must have skills in mathematics, computer programming, data analysis, and modeling of system dynamics. Individuals interested in combining research interests in environmental modeling with interests in ecosystem ecology, vegetation dynamics, soil dynamics, or hydrology are strongly encouraged to apply.
