IOC/UNESCO "Why monitor the Arctic" phamphlet

The pamphlet "Why monitor the Arctic - Services to society from a sustained ocean observing system" by the Intergovernmental Oceanic Commission (IOC) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has been released.
The pamphlet is subdivided into five subsections - Conservation and natural resource managers; Shipping; Global climate  science; Indigenous peoples; and Industry, energy and economic development. Each of the subsections holds with background information regarding the respective topic as well as complementary information about pressing issues at hand. Furthermore, for each section the benefits of Ocean Observing Services are presented.
