ICASS VII concludes in Akureyri, Iceland
The International Arctic Social Science Association's conference ICASS VII: Circumpolar Perspectives in Global Dialogue: Social Sciences beyond the International Polar Year has successfully concluded in Akureyri, Iceland (June 22-26, 2011).
The conference featured a strong set of scientific presentations and
dicussions on how the lessons learned from the International Polar Year
can be taken forward in dealing with the human dimensions of Arctic
