Bachelor of Northern Studies program meeting at Murmansk State Humanities University

On the 6th of September 2011 Bjorn Sagdahl (professor of the program “Bachelor of Northern Studies”) and Per Moller (coordinator of the program from Finnmark University College, Alta, Norway) visited MSHU. During the meeting with MSHU coordinator of the program Prof. Sagdahl and Mr. Moller informed about the students’ progress in the program.
They also discussed practical issues of the students’ trip to Alta in the spring semester 2012. After the meeting at the Center representatives of FiUC met with the new BNS students from the faculty of Philology, Journalism and Intercultural Communication and made the presentation of the program.

BCS at Murmansk State Humanities UniversityOn the 7th of September 2011 Marit Sundet, coordinator of the program “Bachelor of Circumpolar Studies” from University of Nordland in Norway visited MSHU. Mrs. Sundet met rector of MSHU and together they discussed the course of the program implementation at MSHU, its contribution to forming northern identity of the students and prospects of further cooperation between the universities. The second part of the visit which was less formal took place at Center for Academic Mobility, International Projects and Programs and was dedicated to practical issues of the program implementation at MSHU.
