The conference "Nunavut at 15", held in Ottawa on February 4-5, 2015, will take stock and provide a comprehensive assessment of the Nunavut Project, including the accomplishments and failures of Nunavut in the past 15 years and its challenges and prospects in the coming decade.


The Arctic Co-operation Programme of the Nordic Council of Ministers has opened up its call for project applications for financial support in 2015 to new project proposals as well as for the continuation of existing projects.The deadline for applications is January 23, 2015.




A new open online course on Circumpolar Innovation, offered by the University of Saskatchewan, looks to answer how innovation and technology can improve life for people in the North. Starting on February 23, 2015 the course is a truly open online course (TOOC) that anybody, anywhere can take through the Canvas Network.
