World NGO Day 2014 Forum (27th- 28th February) Helsinki

The World NGO Day 2014 Forum will be held at Scandic Marina Congress Center in Helsinki, Finland on the 27th- 28th February 2014. yourngoday.com
Mr. Pekka Haavisto, Minister for International Development,
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland is opening the event, and the
newly elected Secretary General of the Secretariat to the Nordic
Council, Ms. Britt Bohlin and other UN agencies executives like the
Executive Director of UNOPS, Mr. Jan Mattsson and Assistant
Director-General of UNESCO, Mr. Eric Falt are also confirmed to speak
and attend the event - while Ms. Helen Clark, Administrator of United
Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and Former Prime Minister of New
Zealand and Mr. Andris Piebalgs, European Commissioner for Development
at the European Commission will be addressing our delegates via video,
in recognition of the importance of the NGO sector and all the
individuals behind them worldwide.
