Erasmus+ Programme: Knowledge alliances
The EU's Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency’s Erasmus+ programme invites applications for its knowledge alliances action. This aims to strengthen Europe’s innovation capacity and foster innovation in higher education, business and the broader socio-economic environment. The deadline is 26 February 2016.
Knowledge alliances will:
•develop new, innovative and multidisciplinary approaches to teaching and learning;
•stimulate entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial skills of higher education teaching staff and enterprise staff;
•facilitate the exchange, flow and co-creation of knowledge.
Applications are open to HEIs established in partner countries and holding a valid Erasmus charter for higher education. Knowledge alliances involve a minimum of six independent organisations from at least three programme countries, out of which at least two must be HEIs and two must be enterprises.
Funding will be awarded for a period of two to three years.
The maximum EU contribution for two-year alliances is €700,000 and €1 million for three-year alliances.
