Interregional Exhibition and Fair «SakhaTravel-2015»
Yakutia presented its tourist potential at the 16th Interregional Exhibition and Fair “SakhaTravel-2015” which was held this year at the Polar Star Hotel. Baikal State University of Economics and Law (BSUEL), preparing the future specialists for tourism sector, takes an active part in the Fair every year.
In 2015, in addition to its exposition, BSUEL made a presentation of the scientific and educational publications for the hospitality industry. Republican contest “Best Manager of the hospitality industry”, held in the framework of the exhibition, defines the best workers from a big number of employers and employees of travel agencies, hotels and other travel organizations.
In order to promote domestic tourism, it was decided to hold it in the wonderful ethnic campus “Ust' Kut”.
In general, there are 77 tourist routes on the territory of Yakutia being offered by 23 travel companies.
