Extended Deadline: Call for ASSW Abstracts

Organizers announce an extended abstract submission deadline for the Arctic Science Summit Week (ASSW) 2017 Conference. The conference will convene 31 March - 7 April 2017 in Prague, Czech Republic. Extended abstract submission deadline: Tuesday, 10 January 2017.

The conference will be split into two meetings. The business meeting will take place 31 March-2 April 2017 and the science meeting will occur 4-7 April 2017. Participants can apply for each meeting separately or together, if attending both portions of the conference.

The Arctic Science Summit Week (ASSW) is an annual meeting of national and international organizations focused on Arctic research and exploitation, which include academia, government agencies, local communities, industry, non-governmental organizations, and others.

Participants that would like to organize a side event must contact conference organizers no later than 17 February 2016.

Please note: Scientific Session 13, "Understanding Arctic Systems through Geographic Transects and Information Science" has recently been divided into two sub-sessions: "Arctic Data and Information Science Meets System Science" and "Arctic Transects."
