Scientific research in the Arctic necessitates good communication and cooperation with northern communities. This new webpage is a compilation of resources, recommendations, and documented practices from a variety of organizations on working with northern communities. Resources include practices from across the north, relevant information from outside the Arctic, and resources specific to community-based monitoring.
This webpage is intended to be a living resource and will be updated as new information becomes available.
To share comments, additional resources or tools, ideas for advancing inclusion of Indigenous communities in research, or to request help in finding community contacts, contact Lisa Sheffield Guy (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Helen Wiggins (email@example.com).
