Call for student posters for the Sustainable Indigenous Tourism Symposium

College and university students around the world are invited to submit a poster for the Sustainable Indigenous Tourism Symposium in Nanaimo, British Columbia taking place from April 12-13th, 2017. The conference is titled, “Innovations in Community Based Research and Management for Sustainable Indigenous Tourism Development”, and features the following strategic directions: Indigenous tourism, community based research, sustainability, and management. Submissions are encouraged to align with these themes.

Submit a 250-word abstract that outlines the content of your proposed poster. Abstracts should be sent to posters@sustainableindigenoustourism.com. Submissions should indicate the name(s) of the students, the institution and contact information.

UArctic students have a special permission for a later deadline but please contact the organization team as soon as possible.

The students do not need to register to have their poster displayed, and additionally there is an online registration option where participants can join remotely from all over the world.
