UArctic Thematic Network on Arctic WASH (WAter, Sewer and Health) will host a Master's course on the topic of Water Management in Cold Regions from June 28 to July 5, 2019, in Gibostad on the Island Senja, south of Tromsø, Norway.

The Arctic Futures 2050 Conference is designed to enhance collaboration between Arctic scientists from many disciplines, diverse indigenous knowledge holders, and policy makers from all levels of government. Applications for travel awards are due 1 May 2019. The conference will be held 4-6 September 2019 in Washington, D.C.
The organizers invited participants to Svalbard in Norway from June 18 to June 23, 2018. The course was held at the University Centre in Svalbard (UNIS), and brought together more than 100 students and 20 faculty from the circumpolar Arctic region and Harbin Institute of Technology.
