NOS-HS Humanities and Social Sciences Workshops, Call 2020
The Joint Committee for the Nordic Research Councils in the Humanities and Social Sciences (NOS-HS) funds exploratory workshops in the humanities and social sciences. The call is estimated to be open 3 February – 31 March. 2020
The workshops are designed for researchers at different career stages from at least three Nordic countries. Funding can be applied for a series of research workshops including 2–3 workshops during the years 2021 and 2022.
The call text including the call objectives and review criteria will be published on the NOS-HS website in January 2020.
In order to promote the development of new research areas and programmes within the humanities and social sciences in the Nordic countries, NOS-HS supports workshop series, consisting of two to three workshops held in the Nordic countries. The series of workshops must have a strong research focus and involve collaboration between researchers from different Nordic countries. NOS-HS funds proposals which aim at establishing new ambitious research projects and at preparation of research proposals to international research programmes. NOS-HS encourages the applicants to involve early stage researchers and non-academic stakeholders in the workshops.
