The Department of Biology and Wildlife and the students of the Biology Graduate Student Association will host the 2022 Midnight Sun Science Symposium April 14-15.
The symposium is open to undergraduate and graduate students. Abstract submission and symposium registration is available on the symposium website. The deadline for abstract submission is March 21.
This event, established in 2010, allows students to showcase their research accomplishments in a professional setting. The yearly spring event has been hosted on UAF campus, but last year was held virtually. The virtual format successfully integrated the wider UA science community into the symposium and added more keynote speakers and panels from around the state and nation. Due to COVID-19 concerns and to encourage attendance from outside of UAF, most of this year’s presentations will be held virtually.
