Position announcement: Associate Professor in Border Studies
Located on the border town of Kirkenes at the Norwegian-Russian border, The Barents Institute at the UiT The Arctic University of Norway seeks to fill a one-year position in border studies and research.
The successful candidate should have a completed doctoral degree and competence in teaching and student supervision as defined by the Norwegian position of Associate Professor.

The position involves research, professional development, outreach, and teaching. The position will serve to strengthen the Institute’s focus on border studies. The successful candidate is expected to participate in collaborative research, in scientific networks nationally and internationally, as well as in dissemination and outreach to a larger public.
