Looking North: The UK and the Arctic. The United Kingdom’s Arctic Policy Framework

PHOTO: Royal NavyThe United Kingdom released an updated Arctic policy framework, which builds on the country’s 2021 Integrated Review and last year’s report on the UK’s defense contributions in the High North.
This new policy framework sets out UK's enduring interest in the region, and the commitment to working with Arctic partners and Allies to share experience and expertise for the benefit of all. UK claims to be taking a positive and proactive approach to achieve their ambition for a stronger, cleaner, safer and more prosperous Arctic, while also standing up for the shared values across the world.
