18th International Congress on Circumpolar Health (ICCH) in Halifax, Canada

The 18th International Congress on Circumpolar Health (ICCH) was held in Halifax, Canada, November 3-5, 2024.

The International Congress for Circumpolar Health (ICCH) gathers delegates from around the globe who are focused on circumpolar health. As a distinguished international forum, ICCH facilitates essential knowledge exchange among healthcare leaders, policymakers, community leaders, and researchers.

Professor Ketil Lenert Hansen, of UiT The Arctic University of Norway, was invited as a keynote speaker to ICCH18 and talked about “Perspectives on Childhood Wellbeing” in a panel discussion.

Gert Mulvad, Lead of the UArctic Thematic Network on Health and Well-being in the Arctic, with colleagues from Greenland, participated in the session “Advancing Inuit Health and Wellness: The Role of the Circumpolar Inuit Health Steering Committee.”

The next congress will be held in Anchorage, Alaska.
