Webinar Announcement: 2024 Pre-Field Season Meeting, IARPC Field Operations, Sea Ice, & Marine Ecosystems Communities of Practice
The Interagency Arctic Research Policy Committee (IARPC) Field Operations, Sea Ice, and Marine Ecosystems communities of practice announce their upcoming webinar to discuss the 2024 field season. This webinar will take place 24 April 2024, 9:00-11:00 a.m. AKDT.
This annual meeting is open to federal and non-federal partners, researchers, local and Indigenous community members, and anyone else interested in the 2024 research season. Participants will hear lighting-talk presentations from principal investigators leading research expeditions in Alaska and Arctic waters in 2024, followed by group discussion. The meeting purpose is to exchange information about planned expedition objectives and facilitate collaborations that leverage these investments in research about the Arctic marine system.
