Call for Applications: Polar Knowledge Canada Student Awards and Scholarships
Apply by December 2, 2024 for Polar Knowledge Canada's Student Awards and Scholarships. Applications are open to undergraduate, Master's, and Ph.D. students.
UArctic member Polar Knowledge Canada (POLAR) recently launched its student awards and scholarships. The following awards and scholarships are available:
- Polar Knowledge Canada Scholarship: $10,000 for PhD students
- POLAR Antarctic Scholarship: $10,000 for Master's and PhD students
- POLAR Northern Resident Award: $5,000 for undergraduate students
- POLAR Northern Resident Scholarship: $10,000 for Master and PhD students
- Northern Scientific Training Program: valued at $2,500
Students in the following disciplines are encouraged to apply:
- natural and physical sciences
- economic and social sciences
- health and life sciences
- the humanities
- engineering
- technology development
