Open invitation to Arctic ROADS and SAON Board partnership meetings

Meetings will take place during the 2025 Arctic Circle Assembly and the Eighth International Symposium on Arctic Research.

In October 2025 Arctic ROADS and SAON will be organizing a series of teleconferences:

  • Arctic ROADS Advisory Panel and Partner meetings at
    • Arctic Circle Assembly, Reykjavik, Iceland 17th October, 13:30-17:00 UTC. The agenda and meeting connection information are found here.

Sustaining Arctic Observing Networks (SAON) is a joint effort of the Arctic Council and IASC. SAON facilitates, coordinates, and advocates for coordinated international pan-Arctic observations and mobilizes the support needed to sustain them. SAON web site.

The Arctic ROADS is an effort to develop partnerships and well-defined plans for improving observing and data systems to support societal benefits. There is more information in this two-pager.
