AMAUTI Podcast: Pearls of Wisdom
The AMAUTI Podcast: Pearls of Wisdom is a new initiative created in collaboration with Christine Ingemann, Ruth Montgomery-Andersen and produced by Siri Paulsen from Sialuk Productions. The project began as an idea in spring 2023 and came to life with the first recordings in 2024.
Financially supported by NAPA, with additional funding from UArctic and the Pink Polar Bear Foundation, the podcast aims to amplify Arctic voices and share scientific and cultural knowledge across generations and regions.
The first series of episodes feature conversations and storytelling recorded in Copenhagen, Nuuk, and Yellowknife, with upcoming interviews including an Elder from Nuuk and an Elder in Iqaluit. Within the next month, the first series will be complete and available on different platforms.
You can listen to the podcast on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or visit the official website.
This is just the beginning. The vision for AMAUTI is to grow into a platform where more people in the field of maternal and child health share their knowledge – whether through individual episodes or entire thematic series.
Partners in this project were Centre for Public Health in Greenland (University of Southern Denmark), Ilisimatusarfik – University of Greenland, and the Institute for Circumpolar Health Research in Yellowknife.
This initiative is part of the Thematic Netowork Health and Well-beign in the Arctic.
