Webinar for Indigenous Experts: Learn how to be an Expert Reviewer in IPCC Assessments
Learn about the intergovernmental panel on climate change review process and how Indigenous experts can help shape the report by becoming reviewers for the special report on cities.

Join a virtual webinar co-hosted by the Assembly of First Nations and the Climate Change and Health Hub at the University of Alberta, where you can learn how to become an expert reviewer of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s Special Report on Cities First Order Draft.
Webinars will be hosted on 24 November from 1300 - 1430 UTC or 2100 - 2230 UTC (0600 MST or 1400 MST). Intended for any Indigenous experts in climate change, these sessions will provide an overview of how to register as a reviewer, what is involved in the review process, how to be an effective reviewer, how to conduct a group review with others, as well as practical tips from IPCC authors.
Serving as an expert reviewer is a great opportunity to share your expertise and help to ensure that Indigenous Knowledge is included, valued, and meaningfully represented in the report.

Register to be a reviewer by 30 November 2025 and complete your review by 12 December 2025.
