Save the date: applications for the Monaco Ocean Protection Challenge 2027 open on Monday, November 16 2026.
The MOPC celebrates its 10th anniversary. For a decade, MOPC has brought together young innovators, universities and schools from around the world to turn ocean ideas into real solutions. Last year alone, they received 215 applications from 60+ countries and 50+ universities. For this anniversary edition, MOPC wants to go even further, and they want students and graduates to be part of it.
Why apply?
- Present a project to an international jury of experts
- Get visibility and connect with partners, mentors and the ocean innovation community
- Join the Grand Final in Monaco in June 10, 2027
Who can apply?
Students and young entrepreneurs with an idea, a concept or a project that protects the ocean. Schools can enter through the Business Concepts category.
Key dates
- November 16, 2026: applications open
- January 31, 2027: applications close
- June 10, 2027: Grand Final in Monaco
