New Publication on Trauma and Trauma-Informed Care
Professor Sigrún Sigurðardóttir from the University of Akureyri, Iceland, a member of the Northern Nursing Education Network (NNEN), has recently published a new book titled "Trauma – Then What?".
The book explores the impact of trauma on individuals’ health and well-being, and highlights approaches to understanding and responding to trauma in a supportive and informed way. Drawing on both research and professional experience, it contributes valuable insights into trauma-informed care and its relevance across health and social care contexts.
This publication represents an important contribution from the NNEN network to the field of nursing and health sciences.
