Education Opportunities

The University of the Arctic (UArctic) is a cooperative network of universities, colleges, and other organizations committed to higher education and research in the North. Our members share resources, facilities, and expertise to build post-secondary education programs that are relevant and accessible to northern students. Our overall goal is to create a strong, sustainable circumpolar region by empowering northerners and northern communities through education and shared knowledge.

You can use the Study Catalogue to find northern-relevant courses and program offered by our member institutions.

Are you interested in climate change? Have you thought of applying for a student exchange? CLUVEX (Climate University for Virtual Exchanges) is a multidisciplinary international student exchange week held online.

As a Doctoral Student, or generally interested in Arctic research, join in on the online seminars each month during fall 2024. This is a collaborative initiative between the University of Lapland, UiT The Arctic University of Norway, and Umeå University, offering an in-depth introduction to Arctic research.
