Reporting and News
in 2026

Reporting in 2026

  • Regular news will be published as before. The news stories are important for outreach and promotion. Please send the news by email to Heli (heli.niittynen@uarctic.org) or submit the news via online form.
  • Numbers of activities will be collected only at the end of the year by the TN Office for the UArctic Annual Reports.
  • Online form for activities in 2026 is available (UArctic Thematic Networks Activity Reporting 2026) but not obligatory (you can use the form if you feel that online reporting is useful for your TN).
  • Year In Review - Each Thematic Network will be invited to write a Year In Review which will be published on the UArctic website (TN pages, news, social media, UArctic member bulletin) in a one pager format, in a layout that can be printed out as a handout.

News Stories

As noted above news stories of your activities published at the UArctic website are important for promotion, communication and outreach of your activities, research results and publications.

This increases public awareness of the Thematic Networks and Institutes, which are of interest to broader public, both by internal UArctic members (including your host organisations) and outside public.

News Tips

Our News Tips for Thematic Networks guide offers examples, writing advice, and practical suggestions to help you craft effective and engaging news pieces for the UArctic website.
