The Board normally meets two to three times per year. At least one of the meetings shall be held as a face-to-face meeting in one of the countries or territories of the Arctic.
All members are represented in the UArctic Assembly, which oversees the development and direction of our organization. Meetings of the Assembly (previously known as Meetings of the Council) also serve as a forum of consultation, networking and cooperation between all members.
The Assembly meets once per year, with meetings hosted by UArctic member(s).
The next Assembly meeting will be held in Quebec City, Canada on 22-26 May 2023, hosted by Université Laval.
The 2024 Assembly meeting will be held from May 30 to June 3, 2024 in Bodø, Norway, combined with the UArctic Congress 2024 and ICASS conference. The meeting and conferences will be hosted by Nord University.
UArctic Rectors Meetings are convened once every 1-2 years for the heads of UArctic higher education institution members.
