Registration open for PhD training course “Security in a changing world”, November 12 – 14, 2012, Oulu, Finland

The course will cover different levels of securities with respect to health and well-being of individuals and communities in the circumpolar area. The course is funded by the NordForsk Top-level Research Initiative “Effect studies and adaptation to climate change” as the fifth course organized by the Nordic Network “People and Ecosystems in a changing environment”.
Participation for the whole week will give PhD students certificates which can be used to received credit at their home organizations. Nordic PhD students are asked to apply for free participation including the travel grant, free admission and free accommodation when submitting the registration form. The course includes student presentations and assignments which will be informed via the website.

The network will also provide Nordic students travel grants to PhD Summer School "Health, Society and Environment in Relation to Large-Scale Industrial Projects", in Nuuk, Greenland, 5-9 September, 2013. Information available on the same website.
