Arctic policy lecture by Dr. Alexander Sergunin (St. Petersburg State University) available online

The Arctic and Northern Studies Program at the University of Alaska Fairbanks hosted Dr. Alexander Sergunin for a public lecture and a series of class lectures in October 2014. His public lecture “Russian Arctic Strategies: Priorities, Challenges and Opportunities” is now available online.

Dr. Sergunin is Professor of International Relations at St. Petersburg State University, specializing in Arctic policy. He is the author of numerous publications on regionalism, foreign and security policy, EU-Russia relations, and Russian Arctic policy.

Two graduate students, Mariia Kobzeva and Mikhail Strokan, accompanied Dr. Sergunin, providing a lively peer-to-peer experience for UAF students.
