The production of the second volume of the Arctic Human Development Report (AHDR-II) on the tenth anniversary of the first AHDR makes it possible to move beyond the baseline assessment to make valuable comparisons and contrasts across a decade of persistent and rapid change in the North.




Arctic Design Week 2015, the world’s northernmost design week, takes place on 16-22 February 2015 in Rovaniemi, Finland. The theme of the 7th design week is Transparency, which explores the role of design in the sustainable development of the Arctic.

The Eurasia Foundation invites accredited higher education institutions from Russia and the United States to submit joint proposals for the development of new institutional partnerships funded by the US-Russia University Partnership Program (UPP). Application deadlines: March 2, 2015 and May 18, 2015.
