Conference "The Arctic and the challenges of globalization"
Baikal State University of Economics and Law (filial in Irkutsk, Russia) will hold all-Russian conference "The Arctic and the challenges of globalization", June 18, 2015 in the framework of the VIII National Festival of Mass Communications "PR Days in Yakutia-2015".
Participants will focus on further questions:
- problems of the circumpolar territories and preservation of the ecosystem and the traditional lifestyles in the North;
- geopolitical and geo-economic development strategies for the Arctic,
- problem of increased global attention to the resources and development perspectives in the Arctic,
- role of the Arctic in the world politics;
- cultural issues of the Arctic civilization.
