UrFU Projects on clean energy, green power and nuclear technology were awarded with diplomas at the XI Regional Public Dialogue Forum "Cooperation for Sustainable Development of the Arctic"

The authors of five projects carried out at the Environmental Economics Department of the Research and Educational Center "INZHEK" of the Ural Federal University (with the support of the Transregional Civic Ecological Organization "Greenlife") became winners at the XI Regional Public Dialogue Forum "Cooperation for Sustainable Development of the Arctic", which took place in Murmanks at the end of September.
The winners were awarded with diplomas for ideas concerning clean energy in the regions of Russia, green power in industrial regions, nuclear energy in the Arctic, energy of the future and nuclear technology. The projects of "INZHEK" sparked interest among the participants of the session, regional experts and representatives of the "Rosatom" state corporation. The authors received cooperation proposals.
The main goal of the forum was discussing of the development prospects of the Northern Sea Route, the challenges to be faced, mechanisms to ensure an effective dialogue between the government, business community and the public in the implementation of Arctic projects.
