New Publication - Well-being among indigenous children and youth in the Arctic – with a focus on Sami and Greenland Inuit
The Nordic Council of Ministers (Nordic Co-operation) has released a new publication regarding the health and well-being of Indigenous youth across Greenland and the Sapmi.
The publication discusses Inuit and Sami youth in Greenland and the Sapmi (Norway, Sweden, Finland), and how they are considered a vulnerable group. While considering the number of challenges the indigenous youth population face, the publication aims to review the existing literature, experiences, well-being and living conditions of the Arctic in order to understand and act upon them.
