North2North Information Meeting takes place in Arkhangelsk

The Russian north2north Mobility Partner Institution Contact Meeting is organized by the International Cooperation Office and UArctic Research Office teams at the Northern (Arctic) Federal University on May 22– 23, 2018.

The meeting aims to be a contact point between Russian North2North member institutions, North2North leadership and National North2North agencies in Sweden (Swedish Institute) and Finland (The Finnish National Agency for Education). 25 people, 20 of them representing 11 Russian member institutions, came to the meeting to discuss circumpolar mobility and improvement of the north-to-north program. The organizers - UArctic VP Mobility Pål Markusson and UArctic VP Interregional Cooperation Marina Kalinina recognize the meeting in Arkhangelsk as an important step to broadening of cooperation opportunities within UArctic.
