Bank of Finland meets with UArctic International Secretariat
Marja Nykänen, Deputy Governor of the Bank of Finland and currently Acting Governor, was hosted by Outi Snellman (UArctic Secretary-General) and Johanna Ikäheimo (UArctic Board) during a visit to the University of Lapland.
Ms Nykänen was briefed by the Secretariat on the role of UArctic and in particular its unique status as an international association registered in Finland. UArctic's governance model, finances and membership were the focus of much of the discussion.
