International Social Work day: Involve your students!
Thematic Network on Social Work would like to celebrate the International Social Work day by making a collection of digital presentations created by social work students.
We hope that groups of students would make presentations like a song, drama, or video that lasts from one up to five minutes.
If a group of students at your education wants to do this, please inform the TN lead Asgeir Solstad (asgeir.solstad@nord.no) before December 30th to get further information.
International Federation of Social Workers (IFSW) describes this year's topic: “World Social Work Day takes place on 19 March 2024. This year’s theme is ‘Buen Vivir: Shared Future for Transformative Change’, which is rooted in the Global Agenda and emphasises the need for social workers to adopt innovative, community-led approaches that are grounded in indigenous wisdom and harmonious coexistence with nature.
